信号交叉口可变导向车道上游检测器布设及触发条件研究

Detector Layouts and Trigger Conditions of Upstream Variable Lanes at Signalized Intersections

  • 摘要: 为提高设有可变导向车道的信号交叉口进口道车辆运行效率,使上游车队平滑过渡到进口道,对可变导向车道上游交通特性进行了分析,明确进口道上游车辆换道的主要区域及换道特性,为可变导向车道上游检测器的布设提供了依据. 同时,基于检测器数据的可变导向车道控制策略,提出检测器的触发条件及触发时间点的选取方法,通过VISSIM仿真和具体实例对给出的控制策略进行了验证,结果表明该方法可以提高信号交叉口的通行能力,并且提出的触发条件和触发时间点能够使进口道上游车辆平滑过渡到进口道.

     

    Abstract: In order to increase the vehicle operating efficiency at the approaches of signalized intersections with variable lanes and make the upstream fleet transit smoothly into approaches, traffic characteristics of upstream variable lanes at signalized intersections are analyzed to ascertain the main lane-changing regions and lane-changing characteristics of the upstream fleet at approaches, which provides a basis for the detector layout of upstream variable lanes. Meanwhile, according to the variable lane control strategies based upon detector data, the detector trigger conditions and trigger timing are put forward. The suggested strategies are verified with simulation software VISSIM and specific examples. The results show that the method can increase the traffic capacity of signalized intersections, and the proposed trigger conditions and trigger timing can make the upstream vehicles transit smoothly into approaches.
