陶瓷靶抗侵彻特性的数值模拟研究

Numerical Simulation on the Anti-Penetration Properties of Ceramic Target

  • 摘要: 研究增韧对氧化铝陶瓷抗侵彻性能的影响.采用AUTODYN软件和JH-2模型参数对10%ZrO2增韧Al2O3陶瓷(简称ZTA陶瓷)和AD95陶瓷复合靶抗长杆弹侵彻性能,进行了系列数值研究,并与45号钢的抗侵彻性能进行了对比.研究结果表明,长径比一定的长杆弹对复合靶的侵彻存在一个最佳的冲击速度;在高速冲击下,两种陶瓷复合靶的防护系数均大于1,陶瓷材料能够有效提高装甲的抗长杆弹侵彻能力;不同工况下ZTA陶瓷抗长杆弹侵彻能力优于AD95陶瓷.

     

    Abstract: The effect of toughened compound alumina ceramic on anti-penetrating performance is investigated in this research. Simulations on tungsten long rod penetrating into AD95 ceramic/metal targets and 10% zirconia toughened alumina (ZTA) ceramic/metal targets were done by using AUTODYN software and JH-2 model. Anti-penetration performances of AD95 and ZTA ceramic have been compared to that of 45 steel. The results show that, under the impact with high velocity, ceramic materials have higher protection capability than that of 45 steel. By comparison, both the thickness efficiency and mass efficiency of ZTA ceramic are higher than that of AD95 ceramic. The numerical results show that the improvement on ballistic resistance could be clearly observed by increasing the toughness of target with ZTA ceramic.
