一种运用多层不完全LU分解预处理的 时域有限元方法

A Finite Element Time Domain Method Using Multilevel Inverse-Based ILU Preconditioning

  • 摘要: 为了提高时域有限元方法的计算效率,将一种基于逆的多层不完全LU分解(MIB-ILU)预处理方法运用于隐式时域有限元矩阵求解中,给出了三维散射问题的模型以及时域有限元公式系统,对系数矩阵进行了分析,并给出了预处理求解方法. 理论和数值表明,此预处理方法有效地减少了每个时间步求解矩阵的时间,采用几个散射问题的算例证明了此种预处理技术的效果.

     

    Abstract: To deal with 3D scattering problems, this paper applies multilevel inverse-based ILU (MIB-ILU) preconditioning to rapidly find the solution of the matrix equations in the finite element time domain method (TDFEM). The CPU time required by each updating step in TDFEM is greatly reduced by this preconditioning approach. The 3D scattering model and formulation of TDFEM was given. Then, the coefficient matrix was analyzed and the method using preconditioning approach was presented. Moreover, several numerical experiments were performed. The results demonstrate that the MIB-ILU approach exhibits high efficiency and significantly improves the computing capability of the TDFEM.
