Abstract:
A novel electric servo based on piezoelectric actuator is designed and is comprised by two separate piezoelectric angel servos. The displacement produced by piezoelectric actuator is amplified by lever mechanism and transferred into angel output. The mathematic model of piezoelectric servo is deduced, and we discuss the factors which affect the servos performance based on this model and confirm the conclusion by experiments. The research results indicate that the novel piezoelectric servo has several advantages, such as compact structure, small capacity, high mass-power ratio, fast response and low price. The piezoelectric servo is appropriate used for small spinning guided munitions.
