摘要: 为了解决相位编码雷达信号旁瓣高的问题,提出在各个脉冲重复周期发射随机捷变的相位调制码形. 在对各脉冲的回波做匹配滤波后,按距离单元做离散傅里叶变换(DFT),将DFT的输出投影在雷达视线上;同时建立了码形随机捷变的使用准则. 理论分析和外场实验表明,码形捷变方法适用于各种二相编码和多相编码信号,具有良好的旁瓣抑制性能,可提高对小目标的检测能力,并且在回波存在严重遮挡时也能保持较好的旁瓣抑制效果.Abstract: Aiming at the solution of sidelobe problems of phase-coded radar signals, a novel method of code agility is proposed here. Different codes selected randomly are transmitted from pulse to pulse, and the return waves are projected to the radar line of sight after matched filtering for each echo and DFT processing for each range cell. A criterion for code selection is established as well. Theoretical analysis and experiments indicated that this technique suits for various biphase codes or polyphase codes, with perfect effect of sidelobe suppression. In addition, the capability of small targets detection is improved. Furthermore, good reduction performance can be retained even if target return waveforms are eclipsed to a great extent due to high duty cycle.
