Performance Analysis of Narrowband Interference Rejection Based on Decision Feedback Filter in DSSS Systems

摘要: 研究了判决反馈滤波器(DFF)在直扩系统中估计和抑制窄带干扰的性能,给出了判决反馈滤波器抑制一阶自回归干扰时信噪比提高因子的闭合表达式的上界. 与线性滤波器相比,为达到相同的抑制效果,判决反馈滤波器所用的滤波器阶数低,硬件实现所需资源少,实用性更广. 理论分析和数值仿真结果均表明,判决反馈滤波器的性能明显优于线性滤波器.Abstract: The performance of direct sequence spread spectrum(DSSS) communication systems in the presence of narrowband interference is studied when decision feedback filters are employed for estimating and suppressing the interference. Simple upper bounds of signal to noise ratio(SNR) improvement factor are derived for the suppression of a narrowband first-order autoregressive process and analytical conclusions corroborated by numerical examples. To obtain the same performance, the orders needed from decision feedback filters proposed are much lower than linear prediction filters, making hardware implementation more tractable. Both analysis results and numerical results by Monte Carlo simulation showed that decision feedback filters(DFF) outperform linear prediction filters by comparison.
