Abstract: Analyzing the principle of parts’ prior failure, the paper offers the reliability distribution principle of parts. Based on the above analysis, it gives a spare demand model. Utilizing the result of the reliability estimates of the model, the accurate spare demand can be found under a certain spare availability. The paper gives an example to show the method’s validity.
