注射过程螺杆计量段三维流场的数值模拟

Simulations of 3-D Flow Fields in the Metering Section of Screw During Injection Molding

  • 摘要: 针对头部无螺纹和有螺纹的注塑螺杆,使用POLYFLOW软件数值模拟了注塑机螺杆计量段熔料在注射过程中的三维等温流场.讨论了两种螺杆流道的yz平面上和xy平面上不同时刻的速度场、压强场、剪切应力场和黏度场.计算结果表明,有螺纹的注塑螺杆沿着螺杆的轴线方向其速度梯度和压强值明显地增大,加强了头部熔料的剪切稀化作用,使熔料黏度降低.螺杆头部的螺纹明显阻碍了后方熔料向前流动,使得螺杆螺槽中熔料的速度梯度和压强降低,黏度增加,剪切稀化作用减弱.

     

    Abstract: Three-dimensional isothermal material flows in the metering section of injection molder with different screw heads during injection molding are simulated through POLYFLOW software.The velocity fields,pressure fields,viscosity fields and stress tensor fields at different time in the yz section and the xy section are respectively analyzed in detail.It is shown that the velocity gradient and the pressure of the injection screw with the screw thread in the head during injection molding increase along the screw axe.The shear effect is strengthened,and viscosity of the melt polymer decreases.Also the flow of the melt polymer in the screw channel is blocked by the screw thread in the head.Then the velocity gradient decreases,and the stress tensor decreases obviously while the viscosity increases,and the shear effect is weakened.
