Abstract: Graphic solutions of VxWorks,the label type of X Window widget and the principle of displaying Chinese character are studied to realize the Chinese graphic user interface based on VxWorks.X Window is chosen as the graphic solution.The dot matrix that describes the Chinese character is picked out to create a dot matrix lib.By drawing the dot matrix on the pixmap and putting the pixmap into the label of the widget,the Chinese user interface is realized.An instance of the embedded digital map is provided to show the practicability of this technique.By this method Chinese user interface can also be realized under other operating systems that takes X Window as the graphic solution.
