Abstract: In order to integrate distributed and heterogeneous digital librarys systems on the Web seamlessly and provide uniform and transparent services for users, a meta-search engine based framework for integrating digital librarys systems is proposed, and a prototype system based on this framework is implemented. The system can map user's query to the search services of remote digital librarys, and provide a transparent access to multiple digital librarys on the Web via a uniform query interface. It has no constraints on digital librarys participating in the integration.
