Abstract:
The main factors influencing optical registration for multi lens multi spectrum cameras in remote sensing satellites are analyzed, and the registration errors are distributed and designed. The two key factors in registration, i.e., the uniformity of focal lengths and stability of structures, are analyzed. The uniformity of focal lengths is achieved by measuring the image height. The stability in structures is to be achieved by increasing the system rigidity, improving the mode of system connection as well as by employing thermal control measures. Experimental results showed that these measures have effectively ensured proper optical registration of the multi lens multi spectrum cameras, and have guaranteed the practical application of the camera in remote sensing.
