Abstract:
Several novel means for the measurement of optical multi parameters are overviewed based on an integrated measurement system consisting of CCD image digitizers, LCD graph generators, and digital image processing algorithms. With this system, novel methods of measuring focal length of lens, visual magnification of infinite conjugate system, and MTF are given. In addition, the measurement of other parameters such as parallax is also discussed, and the application of automatic focusing technology on optical multi parameter testing is emphasized. It is shown that such methods posses fine objectiveness, higher accuracy and efficiency in comparison with the traditional visual methods, and have more applicabilities. These methods are expected to substitute some of the traditional ways of measurement in the prospect.
