Abstract:
To solve the problem occuring during the processing of developing distributed programs, an approach to build distributed systems over different platforms using Python and CORBA is presented. This approach utilizes fully the characteristics and advantages of CORBA mechanism which is structured to allow integration of a wide variety of object systems developed for different platforms and in different languages. At the same time, a programming framework based on C/S module, using the Python language, is also discussed for resource share, code reuse, portability and communication between distributed objects. This framework is showed as a guideline for developing pragmatic software systems with the facilities provided by Python and CORBA, especially in distributed computing environment.
