等离子喷涂金属/陶瓷颗粒的瞬态碰撞压力研究

A Study on the Transient Pressure of Plasma Sprayed Metal/Ceramic Particles

  • 摘要: 采用有限元数值模拟方法 ,研究功能梯度材料中金属 /陶瓷熔融颗粒高速碰撞到基体后的瞬态压力分布、变化过程及其影响因素 .结果表明 ,碰撞瞬间颗粒前沿各单元及颗粒整体的压力随着变形均呈现为振荡衰减趋势 瞬态压力峰值与初始速度的平方及密度均存在正比关系 .这对于进一步深入研究喷涂颗粒与基体的结合机理具有重要的意义 ,并对指导功能梯度材料的制备提供了一定的理论依据 .

     

    Abstract: By employing the finite element method, and in combination with the process of functionally gradient materials, the transient pressure within metal/ceramic particles impacting onto a substrate is studied. The results show that the transient pressure, both in the impacting front elements and for the whole particle, involves a vibrating and damping tendency, the axial velocity decreases with the increase of the radial velocity, the particle viscosity does not significantly affect the pressure and the pressure peak value follows a direct ratio relationship with the particle density and the square of initial velocity. This work will be helpful in understanding the mechanism of the formation of coatings, and is thus of benefit in the processing of functional gradient materials.
