负重轮多体接触问题有限元分析

Finite Element Analysis of Multi-Body Contact Problems for a Road Wheel

  • 摘要: 首次提出应用Lagrange乘子法与对称罚函数结合算法对负重轮多体接触问题进行有限元分析,并以某履带运输车负重轮为例建立了负重轮多体接触有限元模型,获得了稳态滚动条件下负重轮接触应力场及其挤压变形情况.结果显示,当最大接触应力大于橡胶材料压缩强度时,极易产生初始裂纹.有限元分析结果也为计算裂纹扩展及预估负重轮的疲劳寿命提供了理论依据.

     

    Abstract: An efficient finite element analysis (FEA) method is presented for multi-body contact problems of a road wheel. This approach combines the Lagrangian multiplier method with the symmetric penalty function. Based on the combined method, the multi-body contact FEA model of road wheel is set up and analyzed. The contact-stress field and extrusion conditions are then obtained. The FEA results show that initial crack comes into being as the maximal Von-Mise stress exceeds the compressive strength limit of rubber. The results also provide a theoretical foundation for calculating crack extension and predicting the road wheel fatigue life.
