Abstract: Puts forward a theory and method of engineering research on psychology. To reveal a mental activity, an engineering method based on the tools of UK test and on the prototype of modern control theory and theory of information processing is presented. It can reveal the changes in basic parameters in human character and action, namely the changing characters of human intrinsic mental activities. The theory and method will have a positive effect not only on the research and application of psychology but also the development and application of engineering. Engineering research in psychology provides a new practical method for psychological tests and the necessary psychological parameters for research of robots with personality.
