Abstract:
Aim To study the detonating control of fuze and the method of decreasing the burst point distribution in theory. Methods In terms of the fundamental conception of entropy and Shannon's information theory the fuze burst point was treated as information source. Using the theory and method of information entropy, the relationships among the technical and tactics index, the variance of burst point distribution and the detonating control quantity of a fuze were studied. Results It was proved that the distribution of the maximum entropy of burst point is Gauss distribution in the condition of limiting distribution variance, and the minimum information that a fuze must extract for meeting the requirements in the technical and tactics index was presented. Conclusion The information entropy of detonating control variable is related to the technical and tactics index of a fuze. The signal processing and operating system of a fuze should take aim at decreasing the distribution of control variable. The maximum information entropy method of detonating control is a new way for studying the information processing of a fuze.
