Abstract:
Aim To measure the rocket thrust misalignment and improve the accuracy of the measurement system by using load identification technique. Methods The test system transfer function matrix was established on the basis of the load identification theory. The dynamics of the thrust stand installation were analyzed by using load identification method. The dynamic characteristics of the thrust stand assembly were obtained. The value of thrust force was calculated through corresponding response load cell output. Results The rocket thrust misalignment was identified and quantified with due consideration of the effects of system dynamics. Conclusion The load identification technique is an efficient method of measuring rocket thrust misalignment.
