Abstract: Aim To introduce the transaction management technology in a multiSQL Server network system and to illustrate its use in C and VB applications.Methods In C applications the MS DTC can be used through the odbc or dblibrary.In VB applications,MS DTC can be used through the transact SQL stored procedure Results MS DTC provides a robust,high performance,scalable,easy to use distributed transaction facility Conclusion Application programmers can use the MS DTC to simplify the development of applications
