Abstract: Aim To integrate hypermedia into decision support systems.Methods The concept of dynamic hypermedia is introduced,which broadens the hypermedia componentsnodes,links,link marks with virtual specifications,dynamic computation and filtering,and the hypermedia engine is built up using the display subsystem and control subsystem.Results The hypermedia engine can generate hypermedia presentation using the bridge law,and superimpose this presentation over knowledge components of the decision support system.Conclusion The weakness of the existing hypermedia is overcome.Users can access information using the hypermedia engine.
