Abstract: It is often required to find out the dynamic characteristics and models of servo/proportional valves. The paper indroduces the test system for the dynamic characteristics of servo/proportional valves. The advantages of digital signal processors (DSP) and the principle of on-line dynamic characteristics test are indicated. Experimental verification of the method developed is also presented and discussed.
