Abstract: Introduces a method utilizing fuzzzy algorithms for the analysis of sonorants and nonsonorants in a continuous speech It presents a classification into members,an algorithm of recognizing sonorants and nonsonrants based on the acoustic features of continuous speecd, and its use in the development of a spstem for the analysis and synthesis of the Chinese language. The experimental results prove that it has good performance and applicability.
