Calculation of Infrared Extinction Properties by Aerosol Particles

  • 摘要: 根据Mie光散射理论,对球形微粒物质在红外波段的消光参数进行计算,认为给定波长时,物质皆有一个合适的半径,使其质量消光系数达最大;该半径比消光效率峰值相应粒径小.估算了SiO_2、碳黑、石墨和Al粉在3~14μm波段的最大消光系数及相应粒径。

     

    Abstract: Calculation of the extinction properties in the infrared region by aerosol particles is conducted according to Mie light scattering theory . The calculated results show that there is an optimal particle size corresponding with the maximun extinction coefficient for a selected material at a given incident wavelength , and the size is smaller than the one related to the summit value of the extinction efficiency . The maximum extinction coefficients of several materials : silicon dioxide , carbon black , graphite and aluminium powder , have been evaluated as illustrations .
