Abstract: A new method for making rainbow achromatic hologram is proposed . That is using grating when hologram is recorded . At the some time , a series of slits are also recorded . When reconstructed , the reconstructed rainbow image viewed through each slit overlaps , so we can see achromatic image . This method is very simple , practical , and has a good achromatic result . some theoretical discussion is also made .
