Abstract: An approach is presented tor the implementation of high range-resolution capability using Pules - to - Pulse Costas Frequency Coding (PCFC) waveforms . With nearly ideal thumbtack ambiguity function these kinds of waveforms possess the property of low Probability of Interlept (LPI). It is shown that the synthetic processing result is insensitive to the restriction of system bandwidth .
