齿面激光淬火性能试验研究

A Study on the Characteristics of Laser Beam Hardened Gear Surfaces

  • 摘要: 采用2kW连续式CO_2激光器探讨了激光淬火用于齿面强化的可行性、特点及其意义.分析了齿面激光淬火后淬硬层的硬度分布、组织变化及变形问题。采用Locati快速疲劳试验法测定了激光淬火后的齿面接触疲劳极限。并与齿面高频淬火及未经表面处理的调质齿轮作了对比性研究。结果表明,激光淬火亦适用于齿轮的表面硬化处理。经处理的齿轮(30CrMnTi)具有变形小,齿面光洁度高,齿面硬度高(约HV873)及接触疲劳强度(1 323.1MPa)高等特点。

     

    Abstract: The feasibility , Characteristics and significance of laser beam case hardening has been studied by applying a 2kW continuous CO2 laser beam in the case hardening of gear teeth flanks . The distribution in surface microhardness , structural changes , and surface distortions were studied . Contact fatigue strength limits of the gear tooth flanks after laser beam hardening were determined by Locati contact fatigue tests . When compared with gear teeth made of the same materid (steel 30CrMnTi )but induction hardened , the test samples showed less distortion , better smoothness , higher hardness (around HV 873) and higher contact fatigue strength (1323.1 MPa ).
