Abstract: In this study the authors used strain gage measurements to measure the kinetic strain on the denture bases when worn in the patient' s mouth during masti -cation . Preliminary analyses have been made , including the pathern of deformation of the base , magnitude and direction of strains etc . The results can provide useful information in the improvement of dental restorative work .
