Abstract: Based on study and analysis of designing gear rolling dies on the basic of equal length of flash contact lines on both flanks i.e. with null "phase difference" or in a "balanced state" , the article presents "method of balanced state design" to calculate design parameters for gear rolling dies based on the balanced state of gearing angle, a computer program has been written to implement such a design process and a concrete example is given.
